October Skating & STEM Day Camp 10/16/ -10/18

Join us for 3 fun fill days of activities and skating. Each day will be filled with Stem activities, team building activities and lots of exercise. Space is limited so please register and save your spot.

Wednesday October 16th Everything Tie Dye – We will tie dye a t shirt, paint with marbles and golf balls and create a marbleized painting Each camper will need 1 white pre-washed cotton t-shirt. You can send one with your campers or pay extra for us to provide it. <Sizes are limited> The campers will have 4 cook books to work out of and as a team they will chose their menu item, make a shopping list and check to be sure everything they need is in the kitchen. They will be given a budget to work within.These selections will be the menu for Friday.

Wednesday’s Menu
AM- Rainbow trail mix and pop tarts
Lunch- Rainbow pasta and sauce
Pm- Tie dye Ice cream

Thursday October 17th Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins – We will do a painting, chuck pumpkins, eat pumpkin snacks, decorate pumpkins, do pumpkin crafts and anything else we can find to do with pumpkins. We will take pictures in our makeshift pumpkin patch. Each camper will need 3 mini or small pumpkins and 1 medium pumpkin. You can send them with your campers or pay extra for us to provide it.

Thursday we will paint a 11 inch pumpkin cut out

Thursday’s Menu
Am- Pumpkin pancakes (there will be regular pancakes)
Lunch- Pumpkin chili (the pumpkin in the chili does not change the taste)
Pm- Pumpkin or apple pie in a cup

Friday October 18th Campers will cook the planned menu for the day. They will also serve and clean up the kitchen. – We will have the ingredients ready for the campers to prepare the food they selected on Wednesday. We will complete some tasks as group. We will locate items, put things together and barter or trade the items that each teams need.

The menu is listed for each day. If your camper will not eat the items posted you can pack a lunch or send money, as the snack bar will be open during the snack time and lunch. We will have drinks provided with each snack and water throughout the rest of the day.

Each Day starts at 8:30 and ends at 4:30. It is for ages 6-13. We will skate everyday and do lots of STEM activities.

Space is limited with the minimum class size being 15 and the maximum is 40.

Registration is complete upon registration form received and payment is made.

You can register your camper for the days that fit your schedule and budget.

The cost is $37 a day or $105 for all 3 days

All supplies except for those mentioned above and lunch will be provided each day including 2 snacks.

I understand that I will be notified in the case of a medical emergency involving my child. In the event that I cannot be reached, I authorize the calling of a doctor and the providing of necessary medical services in the event my child is injured or becomes ill.

I understand that Rocket Skating Plus LLC it’s owners and it’s employees and volunteers will not be responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred, but that such expenses will be my responsibility as parent/guardian.

My student agrees to follow The camper Code of Conduct which is designed to ensure that all of the participants in the camp program have a safe and happy camp experience.

Rocket Skating Plus LLC Camp, and its co-organizers are not responsible for lost or damaged personal property. All scheduled events are subject to change. Children’s’ photos and quotes may be used for publicity purposes. In case of an emergency, and if a family physician cannot be reached, I hereby authorize my child to be treated by Certified Emergency Personnel (i.e. EMT, First Responder, and/or Physician).

Photo Release – I hereby give permission for my child to be photographed during the Rocket Skating Plus Camp. I understand the photos will be used to keep a journal of activities, to share during power point presentations and/or reports to our donors and for promotional purposes including flyers, brochures, newspaper and on the internet. I understand that although my child’s photograph may be used for advertising, his or her identity will not be disclosed, I do not expect compensation and that all photos are the property of Rocket Skating Plus Camp and its affiliates.

Please comment how you will be making your payment. If your camper is an Epic Charter student and you would like for me to submit their invoice please comment their student id # and grade level. All please note if we will be sending in an invoice to Respite. If you prefer to pay through paypal there is a link below.
