Spring Break Camp 2024 - Rocket Skating Plus LLC

Join us for 5 fun fill days of activities and skating. Space is limited so please register and save your spot.

The menu will be listed soon for each day. If your camper will not eat the items posted you can pack a lunch or send money, as the snack bar will be open during the snack time and lunch. We will have drinks provided with each snack and water throughout the rest of the day.

Each Day starts at 8:30 and ends at 4:30. It is for ages 6-13.

Space is limited with the minimum class size being 12 and the maximum is 40.

Registration is complete upon registration form received and payment is made.

The cots is $37 a day of $185 for all 5 days. You can register for the days that fit your schedule and budget. Each camper registered for the week will receive a free camp t shirt.

Tshirts can be purchased as well for $10 if campers are not going to be there all 3 days. while supplies last.

All supplies and meals are provided each day including 2 snacks.

Parents often ask if they can help out with anything for camp. Here is a small amazon list. We do not need any of this to make a fun camp but they add to the fun and all are reusable at another camp. We appreciate any contributions you can make. https://a.co/h8B9Ive

Some of the things we will be doing in camp.

Monday – Western day
Dress up as a cowboy or cowgirl. Each camper will get a cowboy or cowgirl hat and bandana. We will decorate our hats. We will have mock barrel races, a bull riding contest and other rodeo games. We will tell stories and sing around a mock camp fire.

Tuesday March 19th

Tuesday – Art & Outside day
Campers will wear their camp shirts.
We will be painting a birdhouse and playing outside games.

We will play some large outside kids games. We will create our photo album for our pictures for our photo shoot on PJ day and photos through out the week
There will be a public skate 1:00-3:00 We will have plenty of staff to over see our group of skaters.

Wednesday – Lego Day & Building Day
We will divide into 4 different age groups. Ages 6&7 8&9 10&11 12&13
The campers will compete to create the best original Lego creation using the same legos and building within the pre selected theme.
The winners of each age group will be awarded a roller skate Lego set or Rocket Skating Plus Tray.

Thursday – PJ, Photo Shoot & Movie Day
All campers are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal or action figure. Bring a pillow or bean bag chair to sit on during the large screen movie. We will be playing board games, skating, watching a movie, doing a small photo shoot with the campers and their stuffed animals. We will be playing a trivia game.
We will also do the menu for the next day. We will split into 3 groups. Each group will be given a meal or snack to shop for and plan for the next day. They will be given a budget and they will select a theme for their meal or snack.

Friday – Cooking & Glow Day
Be sure and wear a shirt that will glow under the black lights.
Each group will be preparing the meal they shopped for the day before and cleaning up that meal on this day. We will have our glow skate on this day. The skaters will be given lots of glow items. We will play lots of skating games including a skating obstacle course. We will put together our photo albums.

If any day has extra time we will have another painting option for the kids. Called “Let’s Recycle It” This project will be to recycle a canvas that has been already painted on.

I understand that I will be notified in the case of a medical emergency involving my child. In the event that I cannot be reached, I authorize the calling of a doctor and the providing of necessary medical services in the event my child is injured or becomes ill.

I understand that Rocket Skating Plus LLC it’s owners and it’s employees and volunteers will not be responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred, but that such expenses will be my responsibility as parent/guardian.

My student agrees to follow The camper Code of Conduct which is designed to ensure that all of the participants in the camp program have a safe and happy camp experience.

Rocket Skating Plus LLC Camp, and its co-organizers are not responsible for lost or damaged personal property. All scheduled events are subject to change. Children’s’ photos and quotes may be used for publicity purposes. In case of an emergency, and if a family physician cannot be reached, I hereby authorize my child to be treated by Certified Emergency Personnel (i.e. EMT, First Responder, and/or Physician).

Photo Release – I hereby give permission for my child to be photographed during the Rocket Skating Plus Camp. I understand the photos will be used to keep a journal of activities, to share during power point presentations and/or reports to our donors and for promotional purposes including flyers, brochures, newspaper and on the internet. I understand that although my child’s photograph may be used for advertising, his or her identity will not be disclosed, I do not expect compensation and that all photos are the property of Rocket Skating Plus Camp and its affiliates.
